Island Home Care is a family run business that is owned and operated by husband and wife duo Chris and Brandi Rinaudo. Both Chris and Brandi have years of experience with medicine. Chris served in the United States Navy where he gained much knowledge and exposure to the field, and Brandi has been an RN for over 20 years.

Island Home Care (previously Island Enterprises & Tower Island PCA) was established in Gonzales and Hammond decades ago as a Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals’ approved Home and Community Based Service Provider (HCBS) for Regions 2 & 9. In 2021, the Rinaudo family acquired Island, thus expanding their existing range of services into the Medicaid sector. 

​Brandi and Chris have been married for over 20 years, and have been residents of Baton Rouge, LA since they returned in 2002 to raise their three children.

Brandi Rinaudo has been exposed to numerous aspects of the health care system during her time as an RN. She has worked in Norfolk, VA, Pensacola, FL, and in Baton Rouge, and has held roles in obstetrics/mother/baby care, surgical, and physicians’ office positions.

In addition to their experience in the medical field, Chris and Brandi are both committed to the Baton Rouge community. Brandi has served on numerous boards and committees, and she is frequently called upon to serve as a Chair for special event coordination.

​The entire Island Home Care team believes in client-centered care which begins with professional, compassionate caregivers. Brandi and the rest of the team’s years of hands-on patient care experience uniquely qualifies them to serve as a liaison between families in need of assistance and the caregivers.
